Women's Day is celebrated on March 8 in commemoration of an event that marked history in 1908. 129 women and 23 men lost their lives in a fire at a Cotton factory in New York, after declaring a permanent strike in her workplace. Over the years many injustices against women have happened, femisicides, rapes, abuse, rejection, and this day we remember how valuable a woman is.
